KENDAKA

The Kendaka is a traditional Nubian Dahabiya sailing boat, built in 2023 and measuring nearly 50 meters in length — a true Queen of the Nile.

Its name is inspired by the rich heritage of Nubia. “Kendaka” was the royal title given to the powerful Nubian queens and symbolizes strength, wisdom, beauty, and leadership. The Kendaka Boat reflects this spirit by offering an authentic journey through the heart of Nubian culture along the timeless Nile.

The ship features 8 elegant double cabins and 2 spacious suites in authentic Nubian style, all located on the main deck. With a maximum capacity of only 20 guests, Kendaka provides a spacious, intimate, and exclusive atmosphere on board.

As an environmentally friendly, motorless vessel, the Dahabiya Kendaka sails peacefully between Luxor and Aswan. During calm winds, it is gently towed by an accompanying support boat, preserving the quiet and relaxing experience of traditional Nile travel.
